Dr. Mandy L. Albert
Mandy Albert harbors a boundless fascination for the art of the written word. Since 2013, she has taught writing in one form or another to such diverse audiences as Ivy League engineering students, incarcerated adult men, rambunctious high school students, and her own friends. She holds a Ph.D. in Medieval Studies from Cornell University, and her work on early modern Flemish drama has been published in Comparative Drama and Skene. She currently teaches high school and moonlights as a freelance copywriter. In her teaching, she focuses on helping her students communicate as clearly as possible in their own voices, using writing techniques that anyone can master. Dr. Albert lives in Boynton Beach, Florida with her husband, son, and potato-shaped dog.
